Recycle your christmas packaging (08th December 2009)
Today we were chatting about the amount of packaging etc, that must be used in the UK at this time of year and we have come up with some ideas of how to re use your bubble wrap!
- Get the kids together and challenge them to burst every single last bubble in under a minute.
- Use as a windscreen frost protector on your car, will give you an extra 5 minutes in bed, and save you from getting cold when trying to scrape the frost off in the morning.
- Make Your Freezer More Efficient, by stuffing bubble wrap into the spaces which will prevent warm air from rushing in each time you open the door, and therefore make your freezer work less hard to chill your food and save energy which is good for the planet.
- Keep It. Saving what you can store for the next time you post a package is of course a great idea.
